Why it was done...

After the infamous Cocoa experience, it was clear that the car needed to be a total custom car project, done with car people that might not be three huggers, but sure know when a different kind of auto goes their way. Too many ev's have been done to very good standards by hobbysts and enthusiasts. Not many with the tuning point of view, that included the custom paint job, the detailed interior, the air ride and the special wheels. Maybe, not even one.

 Of couse, the change of approach kept the car in the USA much longer, and the initial sense of duty for this fast electric drive car shifted to a higher exposure mode in BOTH countries. 

The incentive of having it as the third car in EVS-23, specially by including the car in the official 'Ride & Drive', made everything worthwhile, after all it was CLE.VE.R. presentation 'in society'.
