What was planned then...

In view of Otmar Ebenhoech unique products' success, the 1,000 and 2,000 amps DC ZILLA controllers, we knew that hiring someone with enough hands-on experience with high current EVs, was the only way, Steve Clunn based in Fort Pierce, Florida, was the one. We also knew that at least a 300 volts system will be needed to get a fast electric car powered by a NetGain 'Warp' 9 incher motor.

After the 2002 black patrol was bought, Herman Fuchs and his experienced team stripped the car and, after doing a first class paint job for both trunk and underhood compartment, installed the Mexican designed aluminum battery boxes for 26 Genesis XE60 pure lead AGM units (1,285 pounds), from Enersys . Car left Mexico City for the long road trip to the Atlantic coast of Florida in mid April... 

The B-13 Sentra, was scheduled to return fully converted around September 07. So much for wishful thinking, so much for begginers luck. On July 28th, 1st tire smoking took place, nevertheless.
